The Alaskan Tundra is one of the world's many biomes. It is frigidly cold and dry. It's temperatures in the winter are less than 5 degrees Celsius, and less than 100 mm of annual precipitation! Though the summer is short, there are almost 24 hours of daylight! This can cause explosive plant growth.
