Slide 7: Arctic Char

The Alaskan Tundra is home to 70% of the world's freshwater. The arctic char is one of the only fish able to survive in these conditions, however. Though populations of this fish are relatively healthy, over fishing and the climate change could easily lead to the loss of this important part of the arctic ecosystem.
